The mechanics, Shahidov Ramil, on the basis of the experience acquired at the repair of automobiles and the restoration of shock-absorbers, has offered the idea of a new design of the piston of a gas spring. The idea is realized in the use for the piston of one metal washer and one plastic (polymeric or from other of an elastic material) detail. For today there are some realizations of the work of a gas spring piston. The work of the gas spring piston consists in the control of movement of a rod of a spring. And at work on compression with a rod interfere force of pressure in the cylinder and force of friction formed in places of contact of a rod and the piston with surfaces of other details (the piston - the cylinder, rod - seal, rod – rod guide...) And at opening a gas spring the rod owes "is braked" except for forces of friction, other forces. These other forces, speaking simple language, are created small (calibrated aperture) in a design of the piston - gas and internal lubricant liquid by passage through an aperture in a design of the piston, "brake" the piston (accordingly and rod) and as a result we receive smooth opening of a cover 5 door the automobile or any other detail. That is at compression of a spring, with what help be of the valve we should receive " the open piston ", and at opening a spring the valve is closed, and gas or liquid in the cylinder pass through the calibrated aperture. Changing the sizes of this aperture and viscosity of a liquid in the cylinder (unfortunately, not of gas), we can supervise speed of opening of a gas spring, as frequently it is required by the consumers of gas springs. So, idea which has been thought up by my brother (is possible to me to brag, that my own brother - genius and the inventor) allows using for the piston only. One simple metal washer (possibly, with the calibrated aperture) and one detail from an elastic material, which carries out functions of the valve. If to take into account, that the today's technologies allow to make a detail of any complexity from polymer (elastic, not to deterioration of a material) and the complexity of this detail will not affect the cost of the manufacturing, the design of the new piston will allow to lower the cost price of a gas spring manufacture on the following items:
1. Fastening the piston to a rod - is reduced processing of a rod before fastening to him (it) of the piston, which consists now of one metal washer, which needs to be fixed.
2. A metal washer - in designs of other pistons two washers and polymeric detail or complex (difficult) metal detail and simple oring (rubber ring) are used. In this design one metal detail - simple washer (probably, with the calibrated aperture or the calibrated aperture is made in elastic detail)
